Ive just installed a trial version of After Effects CS6 on my Windows 8 PC (Core i7 / 8GB RAM / Nvidia Geforce GTX285 (newest Nvidia-Driver installed))
I made a test clip of around 8sec filmed on FullHD (DSLR Footage) which means like 25mb.
When i Try to add 3D Text and switch from "Classic 3D" to "Ray-traced 3D" After Effects CS6 shuts down and the Nvidia Driver crashs sayin something about OpenGL Error 3?!
Anybody got a solution for this problem?
All drivers UpToDate and its Windows 8
its Windows 8
I suppose you should add this to the list of Win 8 compatibility issues. You could try a different, older driver, but the truth of the matter is that it may never work despite your best efforts. In any case, you can always manually set it to CPU only in the prefs for Previews on the GPU information sub-panel.
