Probably not. It doesn't even work properly on many Win 7 installs. But before waiting a hundred years for someone to provide the definite answer, you can always try yourself, of course...

I recently installed Adobe Audition 1.5 and CS6 on a new HP computer pre-loaded with Windows 8.  Both work flawlessly.  Make sure to run 1.5 in XP Compatibility mode.  I ran a one-hour record session with 1.5 and it was without error.
