I purchased the creative cloud two monts ago and have not been able to use Photoshop CS6 at all. Each time I open the program it states there is not enough memory to even run brushes or save a file. I have been running my Premium Production CS5 Photoshop without this problem. I am running an AMD black edition Phenom 11 x6 1090T, 4 one terabyte hard drives in a raid, 4 gb or installed memory and useing a 1 gb AMD Radeon HD 6800 series graphics card with the most uptodate driver. So far this problem has not been an issue with the other apps.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I'd start by recreating your user preferences. I believe its Shift+Option+Command (Mac OS) immediately after you start.
Seems like with the system you have you are handicaping yourself with only 4 gig or RAM. Memory is cheap and 8 gigs is bare min. and a better min. is 16g.
What exact OS, and its version, are you running? That might answer a lot of questions early, so folk here can focus on helping you.
