In trying to download a new Adobe flash player 11 when I go to click on the Start! button the renaming mask box turns red and I can't go any further. I did uninstall the original Adobe I had but that didn't help. I have Windows XP. Can anyone tell me how I can get my renaming mask box to not turn red and if I have to type something in that box, what would I type?

I got it fixed. Took my computer to a computer repair store and they said I
had either checked or clicked on something in Mozilla that made the
Renaming Mask box turn red. Thirty dollars later the gentleman successfully
installed Adobe Flash Player for me after that with no problem. . . Thank
you all for trying.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "renaming mask box". Items in your start menu shouldn't have anything to do with Flash Player. Can you elaborate a bit more (or give us pictures) on what's happening?

When you click on the download box you eventually get a pop up box that
says 'Add Downloads' across the top. The next line says 'enter the download
here and (optionally) the referring page of the file.' Then it says '*
Download:*' then there's a box, and 'Description:' and a box, 'Save files
in:' and a box, 'Renaming Mask:' and that box turns all red when I click on
the word 'Start!' along the bottom. The 'Renaming Mask:' box doesn't have
any information in it but the other boxes do for the download.

Are you using a download manager or batch download utility? What browser and OS is this occurring with?
