There was a power outage, ever since, the only way I can open Photoshop is without using my RAID drive for scratch disc. I loose some performance, obviously by only using my C: drive. But, when I have my "D:" drive activated as the scratch disc, I get the following allert.
"Could not open a scratch file because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the "Properties" comman in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file."
Does anyone know why this is happening, even though I have been using my "D" drive for scratch for over a year?
I'm not a Windows user these days, but have you tried following the instruction in the alert?
Yes, as far as I can tell, all permissions are enabled for all users.
You caused me to doubt myself. I did edit the properties of the FILES in the drive without any change. But I went in and edited the permissions in the actual DRIVE itself, and how it works as it did before. So, thanks for the prompt.
