If you're using the Table of Contents feature (Layout > Table of Contents), InDesign should create hyperlinks automatically.
yeah, i've just found it out bookmarks, too. now it works. the only thing that annoys me is that when you open the bookmarks, some titles are in lower case and some in upper case. i gave all the titles the same style...
"Style" is not something that carries over into bookmarks, it's a plain copy of the plain text.
Without knowing anything about your styles , I can guess that (a) you applied "All to Uppercase" to some headings, and (b) some of those headings were already typed in full caps.
I'm positively neurotic about using case correctly, so I *always* check headings -- even when they're supposed to get All Capsed by a style. ... Now you see why: it Pays to be Paranoid.
"you applied "All to Uppercase" to some headings, and (b) some of those headings were already typed in full caps..."
yeah, that could be the reason. i'm do ing this job for free so i have neglected a lot of things , not going to refine on it.... i solved it out the way that i excluded the bookmarks, only hyperlinks to pages work. must suffice...
