I have PPSE 10 on Wndows 7 Professional.
I don't understand your acronym "PPSE10". This is the Premiere Elements forum - is that the product you are having trouble with?
If yes did you restart your machine after installing QuickTime?
You don't need any of those third party components to make QT work with Premiere Elements - just the standard player is all that is necessary.
Insanity is hereditary, you get it from your children
Im sorry i find all the similar names confusing. I would wish they would call it Video Elements.
I was confused thinking it was Premere Photoshop Elements and also got a little excited with the S. In fact it took me a long time to buy photoshop because I had to understand what the difference was between premiere and just phoneshop. elements.
Anyway thanks for your tip I will re install and reboot and tell you my results.
Fantastic the reboot solved the problem.
Great news, and thanks for reporting your success.
There are several, somewhat similar, programs, by Adobe, but with differences:
Photoshop is the full Image-editing program.
Photoshop Elements is a modified Image-editing program, with reduced functionality, and a bit more automation for the various operations (often bundled with Premiere Elements)
Premiere Pro is the full Video-editing program.
Premiere Elements is a modified Video-editing program, with reduced functionality, and also a bit more automation for various operations (often bundled with Photoshop Elements)
As the reboot was the key, perhaps you should see this article: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1058744?tstart=0
