Help with installing ADE 2.0?

I downloaded ADE 2.0 but cannot get it to install.  Any ideas??

Which operating system?

What happens when you try to install? What steps do you take? Any error messages?

I have windows xp.  I do not get an error msg. just nothing happens at all.  I have tried opening it manually to get it to run and nothing happens, even if I try to open as the adminstrator. Hopefully you will have some sugestions for me. Thanks.
