I am trying to make a video with Premiere Pro 5.5. It is not visually significant, as it is just basically slides with song lyrics and audio. I want to create an MP4 that is about 300-400 MB for it.
However, when I try to export it (I try to do Quicktime format with the MPEG4 specification), my file always ends up over 2 GB in size, and thats after I limit the bitrate at the bottom of the screen.
What would be the best export setting for my video to be about 300-400 MB in size? I am going to upload this video to YouTube, so I can't have it be any more than that really.
Choose "H.264" as the format, and then from the presets drop down, choose YouTube. Stay away from QuickTime, YouTube wants H.264
The 720p preset works nicely if your source is HD

Thanks, I'll try that later.
