Hi there,

I have downloaded the ADE 2.0 Installer onto my computer.

But it is unable to open at all.

I have also tried re-downloading the file but to no avail.

This computer is currently running on Windows Vista Home 2007 edition.

Could it be a compatability issue?

Thanks!

Jill

Yes, i think so, as Win Vista is not a supported or tested operating system for ADE 2.0

Check the Tech Specs for details :

Still, you could try performing few basic steps and check if that helps.

> Try downloading ADE 2.0 using an alternate browser.

> Re-install Adobe Air and check.

That's interesting.  I have installed it on XP but you say it is not tested or supported in Vista.  Wonder why?  Vista came after XP and one would have thought that it is a supported OS.

It is likely the marketshare for Vista is not high enough to continue to support it.  Some users have reported success by right clicking on the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
