why is Adobe Flash Player malware?

I downloaded an adobe Flash Player update and it automatically instaleed both Google Toolbar and Chrome, both of which I don't want installed on my system, this was done without once checking to see if I wanted them installed.  And because of this I will find out who and where I can report this software as malware, which is what I believe it is.
