changed the location to www.hoopsenglish.com/test.html
is it simply too much stuff to ift? i thought it would scale down since the table is 100%
It's because you're using a table. Table cells expand automatically to accommodate the size of the content.
Your video is 402px wide. The image in the centre cell is 300px wide. That adds up to 702px, leaving only 78px for the third cell at the min-width you have declared for the container. However, your Student Login image is 160px wide. It's the classic "quart into a pint pot" scenario. Your elements are too big, so they spill over.
Thanks! Changed my min width declaration and now it looks correct on all the previews...
Glad that fixed it. Just to follow up on your comment about the elements scaling down because the table is 100%. That doesn't happen. Tables are notorious for breaking out of their container.
You can control the width of a table using the table-layout property and setting it to fixed. This forces the table columns to use the widths set in the first row. Even so, oversized elements still protrude out of their cell unless you set overflow to hidden. And that causes a new problem...
Bottom line: If you're working with tables, check the width of the content of each cell.
