I accidentally deleted my Adobe Digital Editions program.

I have downloaded the latest exe file, but when I try to run it, I am told 'access denied'. I use this program with my e-reader. Help!

Moving this discussion to the Adobe Digital Editions forum.

Where exactly are you receiving this access denied message?  What are you trying to accomplish when you see this error message come up?  Finally what operating system are you using?

I thought I had already placed this message in the Digital Editions forum. Obviously it didn't work. I also stated my location as UK, but this didn't work either. I am using Windows Vista, which I understand from reading other posts is causing a problem as it is not tested on Vista. I find this odd as Vista is not that old.

The access denied message is from Windows when trying to open and download the Digital Editions 2.0 exe file. However another user found the way to solve this. In the properties there is a question stating that the program was downloaded from another computer/location. If this is disabled, then the download will go ahead without difficulty.

            Thank you for your time.
