The problem lies ith the following selector in osmonds_style.css on line 724
.background #container .white tr td p
and the following markup in News.html on lines 152-153
<body class="background" onload="ImageBook()">
Personally I would not place a class on the body tag; but one way to overcome your problem is to change the class name and apply style rules to the new selector.
Thank you for your reply.
I understand the general premise of your answer, however, I'm not quite sure how to implement your solution.
Is there any way you could simplify this instruction for me:
"but one way to overcome your problem is to change the class name and apply style rules to the new selector."
In News.html line 161 change
Then in osmunds_style.css add the following to line 731
.background #container .white.left tr td p
Notice that there is no gap between .white and .left
Sorry, that should have read line 731. I have edited the message above to show same
Sorry for the slow reply, I have been out of the office.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do that for me.
The problem is that I inherited this old website from my predecessor - who I never met - so when things go slightly wrong, it is sometimes more difficult for me to understand what is happening. It is a combination of inexperience on my part and having not put the majority of the sites structure together myself.
We've all been there at some stage. Stick with it and in the near future you'll be able to give assistance to other Danny bhoys.
