    web to air

I have created several small web projects with Flex 3. Just learning. What is the best (easiest) way to convert them to desktop app? In some of the projects I have several mxml files. I did at the beginning get the Air files to work. Is there any easy way to test the Air file before doing the install. How does one use the Airi file? I have read the docs. Not much help. I am getting a book, but it hasn't arrived. Cound you point me to place for help?
      Thanx

To test, you don't need .air file. You can use the adl command to launch the application

          adl <application descriptor file>

<application descriptor file> is the xml file which you use define the application swf file.
