My "Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0" is no longer working. According to Adobe it should easily be upgraded via an unlock code provided by Adobe. That code does not come. It seems I have to buy a new installation all together. Will I get the pics I have in the "Starter Edition" loaded into "New Adobe Photoshop Elements 11"?

PS Starter is 7 or 8 years old or so. It just won't run on contemporary systems and Adobe long has declared it dead. Yes, you will have to buy PSE or another product. Not quite sure what you are asking otherwise - pictures are pictures and if stored in a generic format like JPEG can be opened by a gigazillion of apps. You may only not be able to convert any catalogs and metadata.
