I want to override the sidekick.js for customization. I can do it by overriding it in apps folder like this /apps/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/wcm/Sidekick.js
But I want to make it specific for a partcular website only apps folder. I tried like /apps/mywebsite/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/wcm/Sidekick.js
My thinking is first sidekick.js should be read from mywebsite , then apps , then libs. But it seems this is not working. If i override in apps then only it works.
Can i override it for a particular website only since my CQ has multiple websites
Out of the box having a different sidekick dependent on the path of the page you are editing is not possible ootb. If you really want to achieve this, you have to customize the sidekick a lot.
I don't recommend to do this.
Thanks Jorg for the insight!
