QT is installed and we can see these services running
- Adobe QT32 Server.exe
We enabled communication in the Windows firewall and even tried running it with the firewall disabled. It seems to hang when we start it up and often crashes.
Tried uninstalling the (demo version) of After Effects and reinstalling again because QT 7 was installed after the problem was detected. But still the same message.
I not sure if there's anything else to try.
Is there any way to tell what's going on behind the scenes?
Thanks very much for your reply by the way.
What are the exact system specs? If it crashes right away, you could have pretty ordinary graphics card issues, which in turn might explain why certain QT stuff is not working when MediaCore tries to handle it. The onjly otehr serious cause could of course be CoDec packs that make a mess of QT's own CoDecs and how AE handles them...
