You can istall fonts on your system (Mac, ect.) so that they will so up in Fireworks Font menu, and Fireworks will include correct Font Family in CSS related code. This will help to get a 'design sence' of what the final product will look like.
I do not use Dreamweaver CS6 build in webfont support. Check out this article:
The idea above is to add code later to refer to Font Name.
How to install a font on my system ?
If I use a google web font, there is a link to download the font.
But for an Adobe Edge Web font, I have not found the link to download a font.
For Dreamweawer and Adobe Edge, all is ok.
But for Fireworks, Photoshop or Illustrator, it's not possible to download a font
and I don't know how to use a Adobe Edge Font for these softwares.
I'd like help with this question also. I use FW to design websites and really need to be able to download web fonts so that I can use them directly within the FW application when designing initial screens for clients.
I was interested in SourceCodePro and SourceSans, which Adobe recently announced was given Google, so I can reference these fonts in my CSS code via the @fontface syntax in Dreamweaver from either WebFont provider during production, and can preview using system fonts (after download/install) in Fireworks, Dreamweaver.
To download a named web font you must search for it by name with search engine, though alot are available on FontSquirrel.com as well. Usually your OS will want a particular format of the font like TrueType or SVG so do a search for how to install fornt on your OS first.
I found my fonts here:
