F P update contains Google Spam

My last Flash Player update contained Google Chrome and Google Search Bar spam which down loaded without any say from me...

I had to uninstall and do a system restore to get rid of the crap.

I won't be doing any more Adobe updates

I'm sorry to hear the inconvenience it caused. However, I would like to inform you that no Flash Player (or other Adobe) updates contain any third party installers. While installing it from Adobe.com, it shows a check box and provides an option to the user to de-select this additional installation. I understand its an opt-out situation and not an opt-in situation but its not silent. We also provide standalone installer for deployment pursposes. More info can be found on: http://www.adobe.com/products/players/flash-player-distribution.html

Feel free to write back if you need more information on this.

There are a lot of folks who would like it changed to a opt-in option. If you are not being careful, particularly with the flash updates that come regularly, you will ultimately get the google options installed.

By the way, this is the Acrobat forum and not the Flash forum.
