Not sure is this is normal, but I've noticed that if I try and edit an old shot that was previously edited in an older version of Camera RAW that I get the "old" interface in Camera RAW.
Exposure, Recovery, Fill Light, Blacks, Brightness, Contrast, Clarity, Vibrance, Saturation
as opposed to:
Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks, Clarity, Vibrance, Saturation (with the centre weighted defaults)
See attached image.
How can I edit old shots in the new Camera RAW interface??? Is there a way to delete old versions of Camera RAW??? I don't think this always happens!!!
I'm running all latest CS6 updates on a Mac Pro 2 x 3 GHz Dual Core Intel Xeon, 5Gb 667 MHz DDR2 RAM
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
It's normal, trying to keep you from losing your previous edits. Click the camera icon (Camera Calibration) and in the process drop down dialog box choose 2012(current).
Excellent!!! Many thanks Richard. I have learnt something new tonight.
