I started a discussion about this problem already in the LR4 forum. But as this is related not only to LR, but seems to be a general problem of ACR, I thought to add a link also here to attract also other people experienced with ACR, but maybe not so much with LR... esp. Adobe staff would be highly appreciated to jump in!
Short version: Photos (RAW, of course) made with an Canon TS-E 24 II are rendered extremely pixelated both with LR4 and PS5.
It's not the lens, it's the raw converter alone. And it's been discussed
here long ago too.

Thanks - this was already yur statement at the beginning of the discussion in the LR forum. But the links you provided lead to a missing low-pass filter in this specific camera discussed - this cannot be the reason for the 5DMkII. Plus it only happens with this lens, and with no other.
So although I am also still confienced that it is a problem of ACR rather than the lens, it must have a different reason. This is why the discussion ist still ongoing...
