After Effects crashing during audio scrub

      Hi All,

I am having an issue with Adobe After Effects that has me going crazy. I am running Adobe After Effects CS6 on Mac OS X 10.7.5, it's a 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5, with 12GB of memory. Everytime I try to scrub (CMD drag) the time line to listen to the audio After Effects freezes, causing it to crash. I have tried .wav, .aiff, and a .mp3. It works for a few minutes sometimes and then starts crahsing again. I am not sure what to do from this point. In my preferences of After Effects I have the Device set to: Built-In Input/Built-In Output and the buffer size set at 2048. I have played with these settings, and this one seems to work the best. But none of them work 100%. I have tried to create a new project and insert an unrelated audio file and it still does it, so I am thinking it is a system, or software issue. Everything is update including the OS X and the Adobe Suite.

I desperately need help.  Pelase be as descriptive as possible, at this point i'm at a loss.

      Thank you in advance
