Steve Werner Nov 26, 2012 8:28 PM (in response to 77Balloons)I branched off your posting about problems with Muse from a discussion about Adobe InDesign. I've moved it to the Muse forum where you'll get better help.

Sachin Hasija Nov 27, 2012 6:02 AM (in response to 77Balloons)Hello,
In case you are unable to edit your old files, could you please try creating a new test website and check if you are work on it properly or not?
It might be an issue where Muse has not been updated properly and might need a reinstall.
If that does not help, you can send your file to us to muse-ts@adobe.com so that we can try to open and try working on your files. If your file is greater than 20mb you can use something like Adobe SendNow or SendThisFile to send the file.
Please do not forget to mention link to this forum in your e-mail so that we can identify that the file is related to this issue.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Sachin

5. Re: Problem with Muse Update
Zak Williamson (Adobe) Nov 27, 2012 12:03 PM (in response to 77Balloons)Am I correct in understanding from your description that there's no problem with opening your existing files or navigating to individual pages via the Plan view? And the problem being described is that clicking on items in Design view fails to select them, correct?
If that's the case one of two causes are likely:
- Go to the Object menu and select "Unlock All on Page".
Now attempt to click on items to select them, or do a Select All (Cmd/Ctrl+A). If that works, your done.
- If the items are still no selectable, they're probably on the master page that's applied to this page and not on this page itself. Go to Plan view and note the blue page name in square brackets below the page. This is the applied master page. In the bottom section of the Plan view (labeled Masters) double click on that master page. Now you should be able to select and interact with the items on the master page (though if they've been locked you may need to use the Object:Unlock All on Page command).
Hopefully the cause is one of these two situations.
