Got Particular? Know how you'll do the reflections & glows?
I got particular as it almost should be standard for editors.
I was gonna add a glow to the particles or use Knoll light factory to create a layer map for particular to use.
For the reflection i was going old school with it and do the 180* x/y thing and drop the opacity. I am also thinking i need to vignette the reflections or keyfram the brightness.
Thats what a hack thinks when he sees that. lol
I am i on the right track?
Also there will be a c4d 3d text object on the floor. Not neccessary but i thought it would be a nice touch especially if the paticles can have imact interaction with that also. Its just an idea thats floating back there. it would impress the client i think.
I'm pretty sure Particular allows particles in interact with their floor, as in bouncing.
I'm also pretty sure the floor is a plane: you can position it, but you can't define a 3D object to be the floor.

Did you use a separate glow filter for the glow as i described earlier?
If i were to put an invisible plane/floor over the 3d object wouldn't that work for the sorta inpact with the 3d text object? I dont think pre-comping the 3d would work in this method.
I am going for it right now and i will try a few things before i post again.
