Lightroom online Help cannot be accessed

For some reason, whenever I click on the Help menu item, I get an empty web page with the address file:///AH_HOME

I'm running LR 4.2 on Windows 8. In Adobe Help Manager, Display Local Content Only is set to NO.

Any ideas how I can fix this, or is it just another Windows-8-associated-pain-in-the-neck?

I don't know what the problem is. But in the meantime you can access Help with your browser here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/lightroom/using/index.html

I have managed to solve the problem. In case anyone else encounters it, it was a security setting in Internet Explorer which prevented the program from accessing the internet - even though I don't use IE!
