That's a bit vague. Are you trying to find a string of characters and replace with another string, or any one of a set and replace with the same character or string for all of them, or are you looking to do different replacements depending on what is found?
Thanks for your rely.
Anyway, what I'm trying to do is: To replace the A character with C, B witrh F, W with G etc. It is always the with C.
You've just confused me. First you said replace A with C, B with F, W with G, then you said everything should be replaced with C?
Sorry. Ignore the "it is always....". I want to replace all the characters in my document and if I replace A with C for example, I ment to say that each A will replace by C across all the story in my document.
OK this can be done, but not in one step inside Find/Change. You will need a separate Find/Change for each one.
These can be chained together using a script so they all run at once, though. I believe Peter Kahrel has written a scipt to do that, at least for GREP: http://www.kahrel.plus.com/indesign/chain_queries.html
