I just bought a KOBO, and I'm told I need to install some adobe software to validate DRM.
I have a Debian Wheezy O.S., I hope that that is not a problem. I just wanna read the books I bought. Thanks a lot!
There is no Linux version of ADE.

I think the software in question is:

Any help on how to install it on linux would be appreciated. Thanks!

No, but there is an ADE without 2.0. This can fix it.

Yes, sure. The ADE2.0 App will be installed but will not run. You have the Software Winetricks too. With this pack you can install ADE instantly. All is ok. All functions go.
