    Printing Spreads

    Lorie Zweifel

Help before I tear my hair out!!!!

I have switched to Apple and to Indesign (CS6).  In the past I would create booklet layouts with Microsoft Publisher.

In publisher when I set to print a spread it would print, say...  Page 1 and 8, 2 and 7, 3 and 6, 4 and 5, when the paper is then pulled from the printer and folded the pages line up, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8.

When I try to do the same thing with Indesign I get Page 1 and 2 together, 3 and 4, etc.  When folded as a booklet my layout is all messed up.

Can anyone please explain this to me!!

      Thank you so very much!
