I am editing on a school PC (a dell) and it is using windows 7.
It is Adobe Premiere Cs6 I am not aware of any updates that have been updating (ex. patches) or what the internal parts are on the computer.
The video files are in MXF format.
I do not believe the proram is running any thrid party effects or codecs.
A handful of the MXF files will not import into premiere, but instead crash the system.
Good start. But you're missing a whole lot of details there. Give that FAQ another read, and find out those details.
Adobe Premiere 6.01
The codec is DVCPROHD 720p24.
It was shot on a Panasonic HVX at 720 at 24fps.
I tried this on my friend's MacBook pro and the same problem happended.
I know it's still vague. My tech knowledge is very limited.
OK, start by updating PP. The latest is 6.0.3 on Windows and 6.0.2 on Macs.
