Assuming it's just straight up animation, with no interactivity,
you could create your own trigger by layering a 1% opacity element over it and make that the link.
Already figured that out. Thanks for your response!

Straight animation that just needs to be linked to a url. Put a box with no fill or stroke over top of it and made that the link. Works fine. Seems like there should be a more straightforward way to do it. Animation doesn't run on iPhone though.
Here's another way.
I hadn't mentioned it b4 cuz I hadn't tested it for myself but I suspected it would work and it does.*
In Animate convert the entire animation into a symbol. (note:you will have to set up a trigger with one of your elements with this method. Or just create some text or a button to link from)
Set up the click event on the trigger within the your newly created symbols timeline.
Target it to open in a new window. Eg - "http://www.adobe.com", "_blank"
Import into Muse and done.
*Tested on iphone 3gs
There may be other ways even simpler but there ya go and this might help others.

Just to add to this topic, I had to use _parent to not open the link in a new browser and take up the entire screen as the animation, a splash screen if you like, was in an iframe. Also I had to put the full link in (http:// etc), as when I just put the filename in, for example, test.html, the link added a couple of folders, so the webpage did not link properly.
Hope this helps someone..
Just in case anyone else spends a few hours trying to work this out, and following up on Interneers post, you don't have to put the full link in.
This 'assets' folder becomes the root folder when Edge addresses hyperlinks, so when searching for a page, Edge expects to find the HTML file in the assets folder. But it's not there, of course. It's up two levels in the root folder under businesscatalyst.com.
Check out this example:
With a website called 'websitename', an animation called home-button and page called 'index', if you just use the action window.open("index.html", "_top"); you'll get an error page, as the hyperlink is addressing the wrong subfolder.
Instead, you'll need to move back up two levels to the businesscatalyst.com root folder. To do so, you'll need the change your action code to window.open("../../index.html", "_top");
Hope that helps, as it stumped me for a while...
Thank you!!! I was just trying to figure this out :-)
I found an issue.
In Edge Animate, put a Mousedown or a MouseUp, and enter the following code (via Open URL) :
"yourfile" must be the name of the html page you want to access.
Publish your animation, and Import it in your Muse page, then export your site with Muse.
Your edge animation will work by clicking on it, and will open the html page in the same window...
I'm having the same problem. There doesn't seem to be a way to hyperlink an .oam file.
Hi.. Could you please explain? I'm stuck in the same situation.
