    Bug in director 11.5 item 1 to n of ...

      I think I had posted this in the wrong forum. Anyways, here it is again, hoping for a resolution:

       

      Just discovered a bug in Director 11.5: Bug was found in a projector running on Windows 7. It also manifests iteself in the message window. When one of the items in a string is blank, director 11.5 incorrectly does not count that item when using the instruction "item 1 to n of ..." (n is larger than the position of the blank item). here is how to reproduce it:

       

      set rp="1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11"

      put item 1 to 10 of rp:

      -- "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10" (correct)

       

      set rp="1,2,3,,5,6,7,8,9,10,11" (item 4 is blank)

      put item 1 to 10 of rp:

      -- "1,2,3,,5,6,7,8,9,10,11" incorrect, 11 items are listed instead of 10

       

      In previous versions of Director:

      put item 1 to 10 of rp:

      -- "1,2,3,,5,6,7,8,9,10" output in director 8 and MX which is correct, 10 items are listed

       

      However, when asked to put item 4, and the ones before and after it, director 11.5 correctly returns them:

       

      put item 3 of rp:

      "3"

      put item 4 of rp:

      ""

      put item 5 of rp:

      "5"
