Not sure I follow you. You don't hack around with that stuff, you simply place an empty ae_force_english.txt file in your My Documents folder and leave it in whatever language you originally installed it...

Please give me the case number for your interaction with Adobe Technical Support in which you were told that, so that I can correct the person who gave you this incorrect information.
i´ve two support IDs, for the same solutions: 0183837264 and 0209532294 (german support)
A huge project file with many Expressions simply didn't work in the German version of AE CS6 (it said "effect ... has no property of Slider", for "Slider" would have to be renamed to "Schieberegler" within each expression instance... poooh).
May I ask if there's an appropriate solution for Premiere?
Trying "pr_force_english.txt" doesn't help ...
