So on the set, I was unable to get a green screen for the interior car shoot to sell that the car is moving, so as far our "poor man's" process (crew shaking the van and HMI lights) and post production, how can I stablize Clone Stamp footage layer on top of another video. And yes my PC is limited to AE CS4 which is why I feel Clone Stamping is my last resort vs Rotoscoping.
The first photo is what we shot on set obviously, the second is some street footage I shot separately and the third is the idea I am trying to sell that the car is actually moving (it's not the final cropping, lol). Basically a video within a video. Thanks for reading this, would appreciate some serious technical tips or videos!
Nothing stops you from using masks and animating them to cut out the windows and then place your street footage below. You're going about this the wrong way. Stabilize both shots, do the masking, then un-stabilize again by applying the inverse motion data. There's enough tutorials on this out there.
Thanks for the reply, I will apply that tonight!
