Layer visibility of placed Photoshop file

In InDesign CS6, I have placed two copies of the same Photoshop file. Each copy of the Photoshop file has different layers showing. Whenever I edit the Photoshop file in Photoshop, InDesign gives the following message shown in the screen capture below. Then I have to fix the visibility of the Photoshop layers in InDesign. In Object Layer Options, I have Keep Layer Visibility Overrides turned on. Is there a way to keep the layer visibility that is set up in InDesign without having to choose Object Layer Options each time there is a change to the Photoshop file?
