I don't understand your question.
Amen. It would help if someone actualyl understood the question.
Ill take a shot! (still too newbie to know better!)
The 3D in After Effects - Once used, does the effect require the use of 3D glasses - and if so, the typical Red/Green ones, or not.
- Thats my translation, and I'm sticking to it!
and the answer, well, I think that yes, you need the Red/Green glasses to get the effect.
Of course, the question might be a misdirected understanding of After Effects 3D world - in THAT case, the 3D mentioned does not require glasses to work on, as it is not actual 3D, but a 3D environment.
Well, there we go...I Hope that helps
The output of the 3D Glasses effect can be set to create assets that play with all sorts of stereoscopic 3D systems, not just the old red and green glasses. Here is the best place to start to understand the stereoscopic 3D features in After Effects: http://blogs.adobe.com/aftereffects/2011/04/stereoscopic-3d-in-after-effects-cs5-5.html
I must say that I appreciate all the links you keep up your sleeves!
Ill take a look at this sometime too, but thankfully, 3D is still way, way off for our project *whew*.
