    Problem regarding AVCHD burning

I've been using APE elements for a while now, and recently upgraded to Elements 10. I burned a few projets in AVCHD format to an 8 GB DVD + R, the problem is no DVD recognizes it and the only way to properly view the project is be manually entering the Sream directory on PC.

What I'm I doing wrong and how can I fix it? It is very essential for me to burn in full HD.

AVCHD is a high-definition format, not a DVD format. You can only play it on a BluRay disc player (even though the disc itself is a DVD) -- and only then on BluRay players that are compatible with AVCHD.

It is impossible to put high-def video on a DVD and have it play on a DVD player. DVDs are standard definition video by definition.
