When you save a cropped image, PSTouch creates a project in the PSTouch-Gallery. There is no connection
any longer to the image from where you started. A PSTouch project has its own file type "psdx"
From the PSTouch Gallery you have several options
to e.g. save your PS Touch project to the Camera Roll, share per eMail, facebook, twitter etc
Hope that helps.
Ah, sorry I was not clear.
I think this is a real bug. Is there somewhere to report bugs? I can troubleshoot from this end and post the steps to recreate it. And I can take screenshots to show you what is happening.
Posting steps would be great and helpful for us to
reproduce. Thanks, Guido

I see part of the misunderstanding is because the subject I wrote says "per-cropped" it should have said "PRE-cropped."
Here's the steps:
1. Surf the web. Find an image. Long tap the image, Save Image.
2. Open Photos app.
3. Locate the image you just saved. Select it.
4. Tap "Edit"
5. Tap "Crop" and crop the image.
6. Tap Save.
7. Open Photoshop Touch app.
8. Tap the plus sign to create a new project.
9. Tap "Add Image"
10. Select the image you just cropped from the camera roll. tap Add.
The image will appear, but it is not the cropped version, it is the original image.
This problem occurs whether the image is taken with the camera, downloaded from the web or exported from Photoshop Touch.
BUT, if you use an app like Camera+ to crop the image and then follow the steps to add the cropped image to a Photoshop Touch project, the cropped image will appear.
I think the problem is at step 8. You should be selecting the saved image from the projects menu not creating a new project and adding image, otherwise your just openning the original image again. PS Touch never alters the original file. Any working files saved in PS Touch will create a new file(psdx.) which will show up the in the projects menu.
Sorry but you are not reading my troubleshooting instructions correctly.
I downloaded an image from the Internet. The image WAS NEVER OPENED OR LOOKED AT IN PHOTOSHOP TOUCH!!!!!!!!
I opened the image in the iOS iPad PHOTOS APP!!!!! And used the crop tools in the IOS PHOTOS APP to crop the photo.
THE IMAGE WAS NEVER IN PHOTOSHOP TOUCH. IT WAS NEVER A PROJECT!!!
So the only way to get it into photoshop touch is to either open a blank project and then import it.
Follow my steps exactly and you will see the problem.
I'm not dumb. Please take this seriously.
I'm using iPad 4, iOS 6.0.1
1. Crop image in photos app as before.
2. Launch Photoshop Touch
3. Tap create new image from local photo
4. Navigate to Camera Roll
5. Tap the cropped image
I see that you picked the cropped image from Photo Stream. I picked from Camera roll.
When I pick from Photo Stream, I get the cropped image, but when I pick from Camera Roll, I get the un-cropped image.
I don't know where the problem is. I use the Procreate app a lot and import images to it and don't see this problem.
If you don't see a difference between Camera Roll and Photo Stream, maybe you have a different iPad/iOS combination?
I can make screen shots if you need them.
Photostream was the difference. I was able to reproduce within the Camera Roll. Currently we are always importing the original image. Thanks for reporting.
One workaround could be copy&paste.
