I don't think it's possible. You'd have to synthesize gesture handling from the point touch data.
- can u please suggest me that, how both modes useable at the same time (ie. tracking ALL touch events(GESTURE), single as well as multitouch ones(TOUCH_POINT))?
Or is there any way I will synthesize GESTURE handling from the TOUCH_POINT data.
- could someone explain to me why it ever seemed to make sense to put this restriction is in place (i.e. is there hope this will be removed in the future)?
Thanks in advance....:)
It's NOT possible to have both modes at once. You can enable TOUCH_POINT and then try and interpret the touches as gestures.
For example, if a user touches down at 100,300 and touches up at 500,400 you could interpret that as a swipe to the right.
Thanks pauland for quick reply,
But how can I set TransformGestureEvent.offesetX and TransformGestureEvent.offsetY position on TouchBegin and TouchOut event handler?
Because I have to swipe on one partcular container, so that it will give some navigational result.
Also I had tried using TouchMove event also but not getting output.
I would suggest you try some tutorials and then once you are comfortable with how it works, apply that to your own code. I am incredibly busy right now.
You can also use mouse events to track single touches and swipes.
