Hmm, I can do that with just one "if then else" statement!
How many fields are you trying to fill in?
You may will to fill each field field individually.
How much maintenance of the data to you expect?
Changing Another Field with Combo Box (Drop Down) Selection by Thom Parker
If your options for the combo box have spaces, then you need to use quotation marks around the data object data element name.
There is also the switch statement and then there is no "if...else..." statements.
The data will change very little, maybe an address here and there, but not alot. I only want the one field to be populated once I click a selection on the drop down list. I just kep getting errors when I write an if then else statement.
For this type of thing I find it easier and better to place all of the address information in a custom object or array and look it up based on the selected value. This avoids the long series of if/else/else if statment or a long switch statement. The code is a lot easier to maintain. I have a demo somewhere that I can post in a bit...
