How can I put custom code into an Edge Animate page?

I have this piece of javascript code that when you press the Text Link it reveals a paragraph of text underneath. I want to either make Adobe Edge do something the same - or put this piece of javascript and the blocks of text into my Edge Animate page.

I am working on either making a whole website with edge animate (1024 x 768) or doing bits like banners and menus in Edge and then bringing those items into a dreamweaver or notepad ++ file.

Can any one suggest how to do the Text Revealing function I want and also suggest is it easier to make the whole site in Edge or work in combination with Dreamweaver?

This could be done differenlty. For instance: using timeline labels.

Hi Joel,
Thanks very much for the demos. I am using a PC and it won't open the files you sent as they are made on a MAC. Any chance you could send PC versions?
Or some other instructions?

I just found the PC versions. Thank you very much. I think that has solved my problem, just testing now.

Can you explain how you did this so I can re-create it.
Also I don't think it is exactly what I require. I want to be able to press a text link called MENU then the food menu will show up underneath the text. I want to list say 6 menus (breakfast, lunch etc) - and when a menu title is clicked the corresponding list of foods appears. I wouldn't want to have to leave a huge gap underneath each menu header.
Do you think I can use the example you have sent to make this happen?

So, can you post your project file (download link)?
Your edge file contains: menu, submenu... (text boxes).

thanks i followed along with the file you sent me and worked out how to make text hidden or unhidden. I wanted to use some sort of slide mechanism though, so like this:
menu 1
menu 2
menu 3

when menu 1 is opened a paragraph or more of text appears and the menu 2 heading moves down underneath menu 1.

I have come up with a compromise instead - just using internal page links to take user from one part of the page to another. It's more basic but still works ok.
