    Internal server update error

      Back along I setup an internal background update server following the admin guide. On a good chunk of our machines it works perfectly but on some it doesn't.

       

      We have a self signed certificate which has been rolled out to the machines through group policy. I come to the conclusion that this is working for two reasons. Lots of the machines are updating sucessfully and if I logon to one of the machines that isn't updating, open Internet Explorer and type the URL of the version.xml document under both http and https it displays without any messages.

       

      I've also imported the proxy settings using netsh winhttp import proxy source=ie but no change.
