sorry for my delayed answer but now I have the same problem again and I think your hint wasn't the right thing for me.
I have my headings using paragraph styles, automatically increasing the number from chapter to chapter.
Now if a chapter goes over several pages, I would like to insert the number of my current list and its titel, but I don't know how to do this without indesign increasing the number of the list, thinking it would be a new chapter.
Hope you understand what I'm trying to do...

Did you read about Running Header variables? I think that's what you want. but if not, I sure don't have a clue what you mean...
Another approach might be a Section Marker. You define it in Numbering and Section Options dialog box from the Pages panel menu. Enter the Section Marker text in the section (or chapter):
On your Master Page for the section/chapter, create a frame, then insert the Section Marker text:
On the document pages in the section/chapter, the section marker for that chapter appears wherever you place it on the master page:
