Judging by reviews, I'm afraid that device may not support DRM eBooks.

http://reviews.walmart.com/1336/21635127/ematic-eb106-7-4gb-color-ebook-reader-with-video-and-mp3-pl...

(search for 'Most Ebooks Can't Be Read On This - Important Info')

It is not on Adobe's list of supported devices. http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalpublishing/supported-devices

It is on Overdrive's (DRM library books) list of explicitly unsupported devices  http://www.overdrive.com/resources/drc/incompatibledevices.aspx

One Q&A does suggest it can read DRM library books:  http://answers.walmart.com/answers/1336/product/21635127/questions.htm?expandquestion=939016 top question

but doesn't give any hint as to how.

It may be worth uninstalling ADE 2.0 and trying v1.7.2 instead.

A few of us have found devices that work with 1.7.2 but NOT properly with 2.0.

However, as the 106 isn't on the Adobe list, I wouldn't hold out too much hope that 1.7.2 will solve your problem.

Version 1.7.2 is a little difficult to find,  I found it for PC at http://www.tucows.com/preview/853736/Adobe-Digital-Edition-For-EBooks

If you have non-DRM books you want to transfer, you could try the Calibre software.  http://calibre-ebook.com/

I can't promise that will work, but it stands a good chance.

I find it more convenient than ADE for non-DRM eBooks.

(Sadly Calibre isn't all it says on the Home Page: 'Calibre is the one-stop solution to all your eBook needs', as it doesn't handle DRM eBooks at all.)
