Did you install anything recently? Have you repaired permissions? Usually this kind of thing happens when there's been a change to the system outside of the Adobe product line.
The only thing I can think of is that I plugged a different wacom into my mac but it didn't recognise it.
I haven't repaired permissions - sorry not sure how to do this, not very computer savvy!
Hi there, so I have tried to repair permissions. I did this while logged into my main account (the one AE keeps crashing in) and selected 'repair permissions' for the Mac HD. I'm not sure if I was supposed to select specifically the Applications file but this wasn't an option. I restarted but AE still crashes.
I also tried copying the AE folder to my desktop and starting it from there and installing all software updates.
The firewall is off and it works from the other user account. I'm not sure any of the other things on the list apply. There were a few suggestions involving files and RAM around but I wouldn't want to mess around with that as I'm not sure what's supposed to go where.
Any more ideas would be much apreciated!
