I inserted an image into my document and added a static caption. If I then select the image (both the image and caption are selected) and resize it, the height of the caption changes, too. E.g., if I enlarge the image, the caption "box" gets taller; if I shrink the image, the caption box gets smaller (and the caption text is no longer displayed).
Is there a way to resize the image and have the caption "box" remain the same size (and remain anchored to the lower-lft corner of the image)?
Image graphic frame and the caption text box are grouped together.
You can ungroup both from Object>>Ungroup and then can re-size the image frame seperatly.
Remember to group them back together, to avoid the other issues.
Thanks Manish. Ungrouping does allow me to resize the image frame without resizing the caption, although I then need to reposition the caption and regroup (which is okay, it just seems like I spend a lot of time repeating these steps).
