    Encoding Fails with Media Encoder

Running Premiere Pro CS6 on a 2009 27" iMac with 3.06 Intel Core 2 Duo and 16 GB Ram running OS 10.6.8. Source video is from a Canon HF100 Camera recording live shows, usually 2 acts. No problem with editing in Premiere but when using Adobe Media Encoder the video seems to process nicely but what it come to the first act break it hangs after the fade out for a minute then FAILS! Encoding log is not very useful with the following message (ooo wait for it) "Export Error Error Compiling Movie Unknown Error. This now has happened with three videos. Getting very concerned and frustrated with this situation. Any ideas out there?
