John T Smith Dec 28, 2012 10:54 AM (in response to 420Production)Find the text file with Windows Explorer and either double click to open in Notepad, or right click and open in Notepad
You MAY need to copy the file to a different location to edit, and then copy back when your edit is finished... and when you do that, you will need to give yourself permission, since I have read other messages which indicate that the file is in a protected directory

JEShort01 Dec 28, 2012 10:59 AM (in response to 420Production)The hack...
Simply find and rename (or delete) the cuda_supported_cards.txt file
If you are successful, you should be able to select the "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration" option (from menu: Edit / project settings / General).
