1. Re: Can speedgrade copy single layers from one clip to another?
Joost van der Hoeven Jan 2, 2013 1:46 AM (in response to AngLorenzo)What you request, can't be done, unfortunately.
An alternative is to extract the grade to seperate grading track (in the Timeline(tab)> Tools > middle button with the 3-colors and two arrows), and so split them.
To me it sounds like you are doing a primiary/technincal correction and a creative grade in one stack. It might be good to consider splitting the garde so you can add the creative look on a track above the footage with the primiary/technical grade.
But, I do agree that this is a missing feature. Copy/pasting of layers in the Look stack should work like in PhotoShop. So by all means file it as a request. You'll get my vote.

2. Re: Can speedgrade copy single layers from one clip to another?
AngLorenzo Jan 2, 2013 5:32 PM (in response to Joost van der Hoeven)I've been considering changing my workflow. Currently I use all corrections in a single clip stack, and then save individual masks for the additional grading layers. Perhaps I should try a hybrid approach and treat a grading layer almost like a Resolve node.
