I'm guessing that you are using PSE 11 but what email client are you using?
It could be a permissions problem.
- Close elements
- Create a shortcut on your desktop which goes direct to the organizer
- Right click on that shortcut and select "Run as Administrator" (even if you are an administrator)
- Now try to email a photo again
If it does work, you only need to do this once, it seems to correct itself after that.
If it doesn't work please let us known what operating system you are working on.
Hi, I tried your 1-4 it still didn't work
I am using PSE11 (meant to state that)
my operating system is sky broadband! (I hope that's what you mean)
I was referring to which Windows system - Windows 7?
Are you using Adobe Email Service? - (set up in Edit -> Preferences -> Sharing)
Have you tried the alternative of using the Photomail share option?
In playing around with this, I have found a problem.
Have you set up a contact book?
If not go to Edit -> Contact Book...
Click on New Contact and add a name and email address
Close the entry by clicking on OK
Close the Address Book by clicking on OK
Select a photo and select Share -> Email Attachments
At the bottom right select the contact that you want to send it to and click on Next
You should get a New Message window where you can click on send to send the email.
If that test works, I think that is the workaround until the bug gets fixed.
Please let me know if you have success (or failure)
If this is the first time you are using email service, I have observed the position of email window is such that it hides alon right edge of the screen. Dragging it to centre once, fixes the issue for the subsequent launches. Is this the case with you?
